3rd game V Argentina & match V Canada!

We had a chance to take the 3rd and final match against the Argentinians, and therefore the series 2-1 against a top 10 team. We were confident going into the match, but on the day we were just not good enough. After the game talking to players we could not really work out in exactley what skill we struggled in. We came to the conclusion that it was those 1 percenters that cost us. The match against Canada was clearly our worst for the series thus far. We lost 3-0, and although the sets were close it didn't feel like we were mentally there to win. We would stay with the Canadians until 18-20 and then they would gain those extra few points needed to get over the line. We played an extra 4th set and evded up winning that fairly easily to restore some pride. However it was still dissapointing. It still didn't stop the guys from getting mobbed by a bunch of 10 year old school kids after the match who thouroughly enjoyed the game. I think i had to hug every single 10 year old girl in the crowd.......and one boy (not sure whats up with that kid haha) But again good for the game in Australia.
the last 2 days have been spent having best of 3 set practice matches with Argentina and Canada. We won both 2-1 to give us a bit of a confidence boost going into worlds. Hopefully can put together some good matches and get through to that 2nd round!
